Jack Given

Islamorada, Florida

I’m a young, full-time backcountry guide out of Angler House Marina in Islamorada, Florida. I fish out of a 2014 Maverick HPX 17V with a 70 HP Yamaha. My burning passion for flats fishing and guiding started growing from the first day I took my Whaler into Florida Bay. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and look forward to fishing them year after year, watching their skill level grow, and helping them make their dreams come true. Strategically dissecting the tides, wind direction, water temperature, and other variables is my favorite part of the job. I can never learn enough about the environment and fishery I get to experience every day. Guiding is my passion and I’m so grateful to be able to do what I love.

As a fishing guide, I truly enjoy watching my clients pull on a fish they’ve only dreamed of catching.
