Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media Associate who is not only skilled in content creation and digital marketing, but also has a passion for the outdoors and a solid understanding of the fishing and hunting community. This role involves engaging with our audience across multiple social media platforms and sharing content that resonates with our outdoor-pursuit-focused demographic. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of the outdoor lifestyle, particularly fishing and hunting, to continue elevating our brand and content to connect with more like-minded individuals.
Core Responsibilities
• Assist in the execution of the social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Create, curate, and manage published content (imagery, video, written) across social media platforms.
• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
• Engage with followers; monitor comments, mentions, and messages; and foster community interaction.
• Analyze social media trends, tools, and applications, best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Track and evaluate social media metrics to assess campaign performance to provide actionable insights and improvements.
• Assist with social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency and align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications
• Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual content.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (DaVinci Resolve, Figma, & Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics.
• Enthusiastic about staying current with social media trends and tools.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year in social media management or a related role.
Bachelor’s Degree or similar.
Ability to commit a minimum of 20 hours a week
